Valve (such as ball valves, gate valves, check valves, etc) mechanical processing blanks are castings, forgings, sectional material, and weldments. Different blank types and roughs’ precision, roughness and hardness have a direct impact on the machining process. So we should consider following elements when selecting blanks.
1. Parts material and the organization and performance requirements.
2. Parts structural shape and external dimensions.
3. The production program size.
4. Blank manufacturing conditions. |
